some of these guys are the same guys that would love if we won the UCL the way we played. Arteta 7/10 times will play conservative ball and be in control to minimize threat to win games. When its a final that is all that matters. UCL was loss on 1 pk. He plays every game as a one off. Its clear you do not beat PSG at their game. He wants to counter that. Should they be playing Forest that way? no, but also they got 3 points there when they dropped points against them there. Arteta clearly states he is a marginal manager. “Positive” Dan and Harrison bloke is proper jarring to listen to, absolute clowns. I had to fast forward the video to when they are off the screen. What is their obsession with Arteta? It needs to be looked into. Guys won 1 PL in 7 years, get over yourselves. I didn’t want Arteta to get a new contract either as this club can have a far better manager with a better style of play and winning games comfortably. He is an average manager at best. If we had Enrique or Flick with these group of players, you will see all these players very differently. This manager doesn’t let the players play with freedom and anyone he didn’t want in the transfer window; he just benches and doesn’t care. Also, are these two new to Arsenal or something? What did we win several seasons back when we were playing sublime football? Oh right nothin. What have we won playing pretty football for 22 years? I’m gonna actually have to back Arteta for once. I’d argue that he did get the best out of Gyokeres scoring 21 goals in all comps vastly over performed his limited technical ability. Do we seriously think Saka is being instructed to not beat his fullback? Or is he telling Havertz to not finish his dinner in the 6 yard box. The manager’s job is to get his attackers in the best positions to score goals. Putting the ball in the back of the net is on the player.
