Dembele was great too
Got to French it Up
0-1 Craig Goodwin (9 min)
1-1 Adrien Rabiot (27 min)
2-1 Olivier Giroud (32 min)
3-1 Kylian Mbappé (68 min)
4-1 Olivier Giroud (71 min)
It's nice to see Frank in the studio.
You guys took him lightly
Remember he is captain ( Harry) three lion's ☺️
Mbappe will beat any defender 1 v 1, need 3 or 2 players to hold successfully
I don't like Mbappe's attitude but the guy is a worldclass footballer especially for France.
Frank is very good in studio, i love him!
Overall, the french squad was performant and competitive. However, let's acknowledge that Llioris would have saved the goal and such salvage could have already placed him among the best goalkeepers. Pavard also should keep in mind that the goal was marked from his side…
Mbappe, Dembele, Giroud and Griezmann is a perfect match of player types in those positions.
France were too good, giroud just makes everyone in the frontline comfortable, Tchoumeni is class, and deschamps has got the CB pairing spot on.
Hello my friend , i'm french from Paris i love England Team. You're incredible and have the potential to go in Finale ! French/England=Brother
People talk about the injured:
Benzema, Nkunku, Kante, Pogba, L. Hernandez, Kimpembe, Varane, Maignan.
Talking about world class French players who didn’t even play, but what’s even more impressive is that, not only do we have 30 more players in the pre-selected list of potential qualified players for the WC, but if I remember correctly, 27 players in the 2018 competition had the french nationality (and were born, raised and trained in France) and were playing for other countries (Spain, Portugal, Marocco, Senegal, etc), their other nationality/country or their parents’.
Most of these young 70+ players came from immigrants parents or grandparents. Some growing in poor Parisian suburbs.
We can feel proud and lucky to have all this training infrastructure, this diversity, and a way to give a chance to these young folks to make it, in a world that often does not favor them.
Takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get there 👏🏻
Chelsea would have done well to keep Giroud and never go in for lukaku or aubameyang
Without wanting to disrespect Australia, the matches against Denmark and Tunisia will be better indicators of the solidity of the France team.
If france keeps playing like this with griezmann in this form it's over for the others
Fait plaisir de voir Leboeuf !!!
espn raise mbappe[IMPOSSIBLE]
Imagine if all the players was here
France were brilliant against a side ranked 38th by FIFA, yet England totally destroyed Iran, a team ranked 20 and get little credit because it's Iran. Hypocrisy.
Beautiful game, beautiful football
France has a powerhouse, even if half their players get injured they still have a world class 11
This goes to show you that top teams get over praised. France beats Australia and everyone thinks they have a very good chance to win the world cup. Saudi Arabia beats Argentina and people don't think they are good enough to win this world cup. This Saudi Arabia team is better than all these so called favourites brazil, France, Argentina and every other European giant. As for Argentina unfortunately I don't think they can handle pressure very well so it's possible they could get knocked out of the group and if by some miracle they make it to the round of 16, they'll get knocked out in the round of 16. Both brazil and Argentina are going to experience shocks by underdogs and non favourites
Guys Mbappe is special, he'll be one of the best players if not the best in this world cup again.
Bravo Les gars!!
mbappe always
Gonna be difficult to be champion, too many injury 😩.
Love this team , allé les bleus🏅
I can't believe the possession was only 62%. Seemed like at least 80 tbh
olivier a true legend of the game
