  1. Let me get this straight. Reyna is pissed because Berhalter leaves him out for Greg’s own personal “tactical” reasons. Reyna acts out as any young player would. Then Berhalter says they have problems with Reyna and that’s why they can’t play him? So Greg is basically not taking responsibility for his decisions.

  2. Jeez. Stevie is 100% correct. This is all on Gio, 0% on Gregg.

I’ve followed GR for years and have said all along that he’s where he is because of daddy… ONLY!

Gio is not the first, or last prima donna in sport who was gifted a career because of Daddy.

    Get him off the USMNT.

    His play lacks passion.

He has always behaved like a brat who was given the keys to the family business, but had no love for the business (Elton John’s ‘Levon’ sums Gio up perfectly).

We’ll done Gregg, and I hope to see you do well in the next cycle.

  3. Wen Gio hit the pitch (finally) idk WTH was wrong wit him DOES JET LAG EFFECT PLL THAT LONG CUZ MY BOII WAS OUTTA IT…DONT TALK IF U DONT WATCH HIM IN BUNDESLIGA CUZ THEN U YOU'D KNO😉

  4. This channel was always quick to blame Berhalter and convinced so many fans to mindlessly blame him because Gio wasn’t playing, without asking what possible reasons there could be for this. Reyna didn’t have the maturity to play for his country. That’s it. Glad Stevie Nicol stands up for Berhalter at the end of this video.

  5. i don’t like how there’s a prejudice against young players and people are always quick to point the finger cuz he’s young. in this case it really isn’t like this. before this blew up there was a whistle blower who said mutiple us players were beefing with the coach for him preferring mls players over them who play in europe. what did we see? exactly that. mls guys starting and being subbed in before your European guys. gio reyna made a statement with how much this is boiling and said he was told his role before the world cup and that he was devastated that he would not be included much in the lineups or get minutes. he still agreed and went. he was gonna go home until his dad called the federation

  6. Berhalter did not mention Gio Reyna. The US did what they were supposed to do by coming out of the first group. Too bad we played the Netherlands and forgot to mark the player 3 times. That's life, that's football. Berhalter has done a good job with the team. Not sure why some of you hate so much on Berhalter.

  7. me confused as to why the us had a conference yesterday loool everybody already forgot about yall. typical Americans fake storylines no substance. the founders of reality tv

  8. This is a talented US team but when I see them play the team doesn’t gel together. No tactical discipline whatsoever. Also there were times where the US could have done more but this coach is incompetent. If the US want to be contenders for the next WC they need a European coach to set them straight.

  9. When there are five potential nationals team starters who all have a problem with the coach, but we focus on one singular player and not the coach, Let me tell you one very simple thing, it's not the players. It's the coach! Greg out!!!

  10. I almost wish this team would start losing to bring in a new coach. The players make this guy look so good but he hasn't really done anything but put the 11 on the field. No adjustments or changes. USA could be a lot better with a better coach.

  11. No one obviously watched this whole video or cared what these commentators had to say which was hold Gio, the 20 yo, accountable for his immature actions or inactions and that Berhalter handled the situation like a professional.

  12. Gregg needs to go. At the end of the day its his job to work with what he has and if he cant maximize the teams potential with our best then he isnt fit for the position.

  13. Reyna is your typical brass baby. Thinks because his dad was good he doesn’t have to work hard like everyone else. He’s entitled. Yes if you're good you play. But you still have to practice like everyone else. if his own teammates had an issue with him, thats a problem. He has some maturing to do.

  14. When he came on in the last game , you could see he was maybe a bit off it speed & conditioning wise. But he was the best at driving the Ball forward and most importantly his final ball was far better than, all other forwards

  15. I hope Reyna has been watching Morocco in this tournament. Skilled players, yes. Stodgy defense, yes. Some individual heroics, yes. But more than anything, these guys are willing to die for each other on the field. It's that sacrifice for the team that has allowed them to accomplish what they have. The more entitled players on the US MNT would do well to learn from their example.
