  1. Should only be 1 tatic, run at Maguire all game long. Get the ball to whoever is closest to him and instruct them to run at him and force him to move backwards and sidewards. He will commits foul because he has limited foot movement and you can get a penalty.

  2. This is a must win for England because Wales & Gareth Bale will dismantle England in the final game. Is the USMT can get even 1 point here, England will not qualify the group which would be the best thanksgiving ever.

  3. The good thing about this england team is, they also like to sit deep because they like to hit opponent with counter with fast attacker like sterling/ saka. Now they also have very good box to box in bellingham who could progress the ball fast with his dribbling skill.

  4. The biggest pest the US has is Aronson and he does not TIRE! To Save him as a sub is waste of what he can do which is force opponents to have to deal with him. Have him run England ragged for 60 minutes then sub him for fresh legs like Weah

  5. 1950: United States players who didn't play the professional clubs stunned big favourites England in one of the greatest World Cup upset along with Maracanazo.
2010: United States shock England with a draw after England goalkeeper act like Loris Karius. They even topped the group ahead of England, but both were eliminated immediately in the second round.

I think United States are completely demolished this time. They are absolutely the weakest side of the 32 nations.

Edit: Just realized that the England-USA clash had been emulated in the women's version as well.
2007 Women's World Cup: USWNT vs England 3-0.
2019 Women's World Cup: USWNT vs England 2-1.
England could have been the other side in the 2015 Final against USWNT.
In 2022 friendly, the Lionesses beat USWNT 2-1 and it might be an extra pressure for the USMNT before this clash.
