  9. I dont think that yellow / red was 100%. If you watch the scene you realize he was sliding and had nowhere to go with his feet. Commentators thought he was trying to hurt the goalkeeper but it looks like he was trying to avoid that. Anyone who's ever been in a situation like that knows that you cant change direction. You can only try to avoid injuring the other guy.

  31. I get that MLS has national TV deals or whatever, but having to be forced to wait 24 hours to post the highlights for nationally televised PLAYOFF matches is crazy. With that being said, hopefully this will be the last year of that, since MLS is moving all of their games to Apple TV starting next year.

  32. RSL is not better than where they ended up. I hope Rubio Rubin keeps sliding right out the roster – this guy is horrible only contributing one meaningless goal all season. RSL needs to start from scratch and let go of 80% of its players, including Pablo Mastroeni with his disingenuous post game interviews and even worse substitution patterns.

Great game by the Verde and Black but sorta concerned about our ability to create new and interesting plays that other teams haven't seen us do already, especially after this game, I think we've shown every remaining team in the playoffs what our entire gameplan looks like: fast break or Diego crossing into the box. Almost an hour of crosses aiming for Drussi, Rigoni, Moussa and Cascante and no legit goals scored. I think those chances were neutralized by RSL essentially having 10 defenders on the field but still! This helped us out during the shootout, I think after playing defense for 70 minutes had their legs feeling like jello. And final point, hats off to RSLs keeper, amazing display of perseverance and sportsmanship from him.
