  1. As loyal Soccer ⚽️ fans we do not spend the money ? to attend games and take the time out of our weekend to watch ? the worst Refereeing ? & VAR Refereeing in all of sports! Major League Soccer (MLS) ?? ??, and Professional Refereeing Organization (PRO) you must do better!!! It’s embarrassing!

  2. April 3rd, 2022 (PRO) issues statement on MLS’s Week 5 game between Toronto FC and NYCFC.

“The Professional Referee Organization (PRO) acknowledges that a significant officiating error occurred in an important match situation in the eighth minute of the game between Toronto FC and New York City FC.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) incorrectly determined the awarding of a penalty kick to be a clear and obvious error, as the selection of camera angles examined did not reveal foul contact from Toronto FC’s Kosi Thompson on New York City FC striker Talles Magno.

While an available camera angle did reveal foul contact, that alternative camera angle was not examined by the VAR, nor was it made available to the referee on the pitch-side monitor. The referee changed his decision and rescinded the penalty kick.

PRO can confirm that the awarding of a penalty kick was not a clear and obvious error, and the referee’s initial decision should have been allowed to stand.”

  3. anybody who says that penalty shouldnt have been overturned is lying to themselves.get your eyes checked .watch the replay! its a disservice to the game itself..

  4. 5:46 When the highlights showed Heber getting subbed on, they just gave it away that he would end up scoring a goal. MLS highlights only show substitutions when the player getting subbed on scores. They should really show every sub or none of them, because subs being shown in highlights as it currently stands tells us that the player coming on is gonna score.

  5. Super impressed by Toronto and some of these refereeing decisions made no sense but wtf is up with NYCFC. Ik they always suck at the beginning of the season but they haven’t sucked this hard in a while

  6. Commentator saying the pen shouldn’t have been waved off, after a replay you could clearly see the NYCFC player clipped his own heel. Correct decision to overturn it

  7. I can't believe they took that penalty back.. Especially in the mls where the var crew usually always finds some touch to give a penalty for

  8. LETS GOOOO LUUKKAAAAAS MAACCNAAUUGHHTTOOOOON, Don't regret getting a Macnaughton Pfc jersey gonna rep that every pfc match. Completely shining up in his move into the bigger league

  9. Wow, shocking once again more crap ? MLS Canadian bias refereeing ??. Constant stoppage of play just because a player gets touched, unbelievable NOT fun to watch ?! So the exact same foul outside the penalty gets called, BUT does not get called in the penalty box??? Constantly soft calls ruins the momentum of play! Why are the VAR referees NOT showing multiple angles of the foul in question to the on-field referee?
