  1. OK, good win for T's after the frustrating trip to MN (where we outplayed Loons twice, but…). So with losses by SJ, Houston, and SKC…we are in great shape now. We have games in hand on ALL teams currently ahead of us and 10 of our last 11 games are in PDX ! Just our usual 2nd-half-of-season run. Keep on !

  2. MLS has the best atmosphere of the of the major American sports leagues. Soccer has the highest participation of all the sports of America. MLS has the 3rd highest average attendance of the major sports leagues, above the NBA and NHL. Is the number 2 sport for Americans under 25 and US men's World Cup games get higher ratings than the NBA, MLB and NHL finals, yet the US media treat soccer like a minor sport. Soccer gets nowhere near the mainstream coverage. Both Michael Davies of Men in Blazers, a powerful TV executive in the US and Former head of Reebok US and now Liverpool CEO both said there is an agenda behind this because the major networks in cahoots with the traditional US sports leagues to keep soccer out of the mainstream because there is a fear if soccer gets mainstream oxygen in America, it could take over like it did in Japan and the major networks are happy to oblige because they have shares in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB.

  3. I have a question for any Portland Timbers dan out there
    1) you have an amazing stadium and can’t wait to see the team play anyone there.
    2) What’s the capacity for the stadium people keep saying 25k but the stadium looks like you can seat 40k so which is it?

  4. They should allow you to cover your face with hands or a forearm at best. You can seriously get hurt with that kind of force on a ball coming at you. I don't see why they can't do it. Same ball to hand rule apply
