Diego Chara is one of the most underrated players in MLS. He is one of the best, if not the best defensive midfielders in the league. It’s been YEARS since the Timbers have won a game without him. That is a crazy stat. He deserves a lot more recognition. This sport isn’t all about scoring goals

Sometimes I get the frustration, but God damn dude, you're not doing yourself or your teammates any favors acting like that just because the play didn't work out…but notice how whenever it doesn't go how he wants it's because HE doesn't get the ball. I hated playing with people like that growing up too lol

Some nice ball movement by the Timbers in this one. The two passes by Valentin and Blanco leading to Chara's goal were brilliant and the one later on by Valeri was smooth.
