  1. Gab saying Juan jesus doesn't see Giroud or know he is there is ridiculous, and Giroud definitely moves in attempt to play the ball while on the ground, marginal to say that interfered with Juan jesus but by letter of the law it would appear correct. Even without offside probably should have been a free out for how giroud climbed over Juan jesus to win the initial header

  2. They’re saying if giroud wasn’t offsides the Napoli player would have an easier job clearing it.
So its DEF weak but he does interfere in the play. So by the rule its Offsides

  3. I think and in future, if VAR is being called upon to rubber stamp a deceision, then ALL match officials (rather than just the ref) need to go over have a look and have majority verdict on any incident/offside decision, penalty decision etc in question.

There's too much at stake and in the modern game, for match officials to get their decision wrong and especially with the "help" of VAR technology.

Please be brave and just imagine that decision being given against your team in a WC or UCL finial, quarter or semi final, promotion playoff game, etc.

Without technology, it's a very reluctant "OK" mistakes happen. But I think what this incident is screaming out is even with a TV monitor, with fast forward, pause & rewind option, the ref still only sees what he wants to see.

They only way you'll ever right is with group majority (so ref & both linesman = 2/1) decision(s).

  4. There's no use banging on about whether a goal should have been allowed or what….kessi and the rest went running of to celebrate an equalizer when they needed another goal to win…that just shows the lack of mentality to win. Milan got to stop giving pioli new contracts without him actually earning it because the guy has no clue what to do anymore…other teams also have many injuries but their coaches are adapting…this guy just sticks to the same formation and hopes.

  5. Liverpool are that good that even when the referees significantly helped Tottenham, they still didn't lose.

Kane made a career ending tackle on Robertson and that doesn't get a review, but robertsons swipe with no studs gets a review.

Jota got fouled in the box by a player who was on a yellow card.

This is a game to show how corrupt the officials are.
