Jurgen Klinsmann explains why Bayern Munich look a shadow of themselves | ESPN FC

Bayern Munich may be first in the German Bundesliga, but the results don’t tell the whole story following their 1-0 win over Augsburg. Jurgen Klinsmann joins the show to explain why Bayern Munich look a shadow of themselves, while Kasey Keller thinks Hansi Flick’s side might simply be fatigued. With Bayern’s movement not as free-flowing as in recent seasons, Klinsmann credits the Bavarians for grinding results out. Plus, the FC guys talk about RB Leipzig’s title chase after a 1-0 win vs. Union Berlin.

  1. Hi yes, let's get the worst Bayern manager in the last 20 years to provide feedback about what's wrong with Bayern here. Also, can we bring in the random Scotsmen who've never watched a Bundesliga match in their entire life to give their opinion? Oh they're hungover, okay let's bring in some random bald dude who isn't German.

  2. lol even last season Bayern would be complacent at the ends of games, they would just score more early on, look at the poke final. Even with the problems they are facing they are still doing better then Barca, Liverpool, Real, Juve and so on.

  3. This isn't even a great Bayern team yet they're still ahead of all other challengers, maybe the Bundesliga isn't as good as many think. Dortmund are the biggest disappointment, take Haaland out of that team they're bang avg. Leipzig are still the biggest threat imo.

  4. So now excuses even after we win and keep a clean sheet atleast since October. It’s a dip in form but we will come back stronger especially in CL. This match we had chances and couldn’t put all in but happy with clean sheet atleast.

  5. They had Perisic Coutinho and Thiago. They replace them with trash players. The panic signings where trash. They wasted so much time on rest didn't want to sign him and that caused them to sign nothing but trash. The club needs to start backing there coach and stop purchase the trashes in Europe. Buy quality because they got quantity not quality. Bayern should go for Sabitzer Lamptey Florian and Upamecano. Get rid of Choupa Moting, Bouna Sarr, Douglas Costa, Tolisso and Javi free space

  6. I know what the trouble is. Motivation. Having won the Bundesliga and the CL last season, they have achieved what they set out to do. This happened to Manchester City last season after they had won the Premiership twice in two years and won every domestic trophy. It is extremely difficult to maintain momentum and the will to win. Liverpool in the Premiership, who granted have many injuries, and who won the title last season, seem to be suffering a similar drop off.

  7. Seems like all of the top teams in europe are struggling r now. everyone is suffering with the ramped up schedule, but in the end, bayern and the other great teams in europe will sort themselves out
